Our story is a coming of age drama in the life of Drake and his determination to be better than his Mother and Father and not go down the same path of turmoil, sorrow and misfortunate circumstances. This brings about a heavy burden that challenges Drake as he succumbs to the same destructive behavior that seems to be a hereditary mix of emotions that lead him to act out his anger or frustrations with a collective realm of incidents that eventually cause the authorities to intervene and shake up his destiny.

Drake goes back and forth with his Mother and Father whom both are part of the DEA and he uses their Government connection as a way out of sorts, that sometimes backfires cause his Mother and Father have different views and agendas on how Drake should be perceived as a young man.

The entanglement of dealing and stealing drugs put Drake in a realm of fear that leads to anxiety as he disappears and only his Father can find him. The irony of it all is Drake will receive an inheritance once he finishes college. That struggle is upon him, along with the memory of his Mother’s dark secret when you killed the man that was abusive to her. Drake has kept this burden under wraps and only his nightmares echo the darkness of that moment in time.
